These pieces are actually 2 dimensional, drawn with chalk on the sidewalk. Looking at the artwork, it appears to be totally realistic, with the poses playing against the 3-D effects of the tromp l’oeil drawing techniques. This is the work of true urban artists, who see the city as their canvas and create their images on whatever spot happens to appeal to their sense of what will work best.
